National Dog Bite Prevention Week

It’s ‘National Dog Bite Prevention Week’ in the USA. Yes, I’m serious.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), more than 4.7 million Americans are bitten by dogs each year, with kids being at the highest risk.

So the AAP are teaming up with the American Veterinary Medical Association and ‘other partners’ to highlight the problem and educate the community about reducing the risk.
