Well, we finally have a time slot for our show on Channel 31 Melbourne:
7pm Wednesdays, starting 10 December.

Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve both fall on a Wednesday. We will not be doing a show on Christmas Eve, but NYE is business as usual.

If you’re in Melbourne and can receive channel 31, please join us!

For the rest of you, the complete show will be streamed on the Channel 31 website soon after it airs; and we’ll also post most of the segments right here, a couple of weeks later.

Yes, Melbourne community TV station Channel 31 has asked us to produce a 13 episode season, to begin airing in December 2008.

We’re looking forward to going out and gathering a whole lot more dog stories from the interesting and informative to the simply bizarre. We’ll be pretty busy shooting and editing over the next couple of months so it may take a while for some of these to hit the podcast… but hopefully it will be worth it!

Thanks to all of our viewers, as well as all of the people that have participated - both on and off camera - in the making of Hound TV. We’re very much looking forward to the next bit of our adventure!

YouTube user lamgngo built a tennis ball cannon and posted a video of his Dachshund Jerry retrieving balls launched by the machine. And if you’re thinking this is a lazy dog owner’s excuse to neglect their dog… according to lamgngo, Jerry only plays with the machine when there is a human operator present!

All kidding aside, there could be a market for these amongst amputees.
